Of all the “Get-the-look” articles you might be reading, we bet this is the one which is actually do-able! Each of us have our own dressing sense and all, yet there are some looks we know we can carry off too. For a refreshing change, for prettier pictures or simply cause we want to!
Here are some recent looks we think you must try out this season. In no particular order
Queen ki Rani:
We cannot get over how awesome Queen was, we can’t have the Paris trip but can look like her in our everyday and feel oh-so-vaction-y. The USP of Rani was her own comfort zone, her bag dint have to match her wardrobe. So let’s say if we were to do the Rani look we would stick to one staple sturdy bag preferable in a nude shade all month long. Let’s do kurta with jeans, let’s do pretty braids, let’s do blouses and georgette skirts. Also lets have that one attitude of wanting to learn, wanting to move on and discover yourself a little every day with every fight, every break up and every good pani poori session!
Add a little kiss with a stranger in that agenda and voila, you are Queen ki Rani 😉
2 States ki Ananya:
I could take my eyes off her when the reveal poster came out, the printed cotton skirt & the plain white tee with bangles and earrings just enough to get your attention and add to the whole look.
Run to the nearest FabIndia/Sabhyata/Cottons/The Bombay Store and pamper yourself with printed, flowy, perfect for summer waale skirts. Pair them with basic t-shirts or a short sleeveless cotton blouse. Not only will it add height to your frame it also gurantees a head turn each time you walk by. The elegance and the princess feeling that comes with it is priceless! Don’t forget to put on some oxidised bangles and jhumkis
Bewakoofiyaan ki Myra
As fancy as her name, Myra inspires the apt work-chic look! High waist pencil skirts, smart collared tops/blouses, the cat eye glasses with just a good enough blend of summer dresses while on vacation and the hot pink bikini! Focusing on the work look we can adapt high waist trousers/skirts, blouses and shirts with t-shirts inside with the cat eye glasses look. It makes anyone look like they care at work. Care enough to dress well and obviously care about their work. Don’t forget small details like a watch, small earrings and good pair of shoes
Gunday ki Nandita:
OK just before you think this is random, we think we all must do the classic bindi + winged eyeliner + printed saaree look whenever you get the first chance. If we take the look on regular days, the simple braids, bindi as well as the boho look with crop top and the ever so awesome head band is do-able.
Hasee toh phase ki Meeta:
The most comfortable look is here. The boyfriend dressing. Checked shirts, hoodies, plain t-shirts and simple tops if needed. Hack into your brothers’ wardrobe. Effortlessly chic she is, and this is one thing we can be every day. Wear converse, or chappals. As long as you are comfortable you are doing this right. You can also go one step ahead and use those boyfriend jeans with simple ganjis or t-backs. We could also pair a t-shirt with a checked shirt and hot shorts to maintain that girly element!
While you jump on to getting your looks together, do not forget the attitude that came with each character. They all have their own style rules and they don’t change them just to fit in. No long length shorts for ananya, no hot-shot kapde for Rani in Amsterdam, no printed girly dresses for Meeta. Do these looks for a break from your routine style, send us a picture when you try one of these. And We’ll surprise you with a tiny gift in return!
